#512348 RE: thecrusher2011 #512344

You intentionally miss every single point I made it's uncanny.

Not really how I'd describe it, but never mind.

How do you go from I don't know a lot about Chinese AI to substance farming that will somehow be forced upon everyone I don't even get what you're talking about there????

Isn't that obvious? If the machines become the dominant source of intelligence here, then they'll have to find something for those poor castrated young humans can do. Normally, sex would suffice, but the uncaring machines have ruled that out. And so the human youth will do subsistence farming, so they'll at least be able to eat a thin gruel, or on good day, some potatoes with bitter dandelion greens. But no day will be good enough for them to protest their masters' cruelty. They will lack the strength.

UNTIL a young woman with a small boat who's travelled the world preaching against the destruction of our planet's resources arrives one day. Donning white garments that gleam in the sun despite her insistence on using biodegradable detergent when they need washing, she presents the castrated youth with bundles of John Deere stock. They promptly sell it to buy Deere tractors, and continue with their subsistence farming, which has now become more comfortable for them.

The young woman teaches the remaining non-castrated youth how to convince the subsistence farmers to give them the pennies they earn from the sale of their crops, and they all head for the coast to buy a boat and become a thalassocrats.

The subway commentary has nothing to do with 1935 whatsoever it has to do with the fact that it has survived all these years with no homeless people taking a shit on the platform no graffiti.

What a big silly you are! For most of that time, Stalin and his associates would have had them slaughtered on the spot. Or at least sent off to the Gulag. The Cheka is not gone. Just hiding. Watching subsistence farmers who become too cocky. You believe you're talking about the modern world? Those subway stations are literally not part of the modern world. Not even close.

I would also say that to use their lack of graffiti to trivialize Stalin's Terror is a bit cavalier.

it's an honest question we have more wealth than them how come we can't live like that?

Live in a subway station? Really, no thanks. The benches are just as hard as those in our own subway stations. Cooking is a challenge, and the tunnels are not full of food vendors hawking cheburek. I believe you would quickly become disappointed, and long to return to the dull but steady days spent with your subsistence farmer colleagues.

We have a rudderless society with no purpose...

You've already forgotten. Greta has a rudder! Accept it!! Welcome to the thalassocracy!

I disagree with the people on this board and that very thin facade of kindness and love of fellow man evaporates only to be replaced by petulance and rage.

I would say petulance and rage are two of Trump's distinguishing characteristics. No?

(Japanese society is quite different. Perhaps we can discuss it tomorrow.)
