Stephanie Powers is a good person, and was a good chief of USAID. ANY agency that tries to do what USAID does will have waste. Food goes bad. Medications are stolen and sold to people who are not the sick people for whom they're intended. Political unrest messes everything up. Those are acceptable risks.
But what do you think of a government that stops an initial course of HIV treatment to young people who may die, or host and spread treatment-resistant HIV mutations if those meds aren't administered to them?
I ask because that government is the Musk-Trump government. Both men are just narcissists who want to move fast and break things, and insult everyone they come into contact with incessantly. They are also both extremely corrupt, and beyond greedy.
