I asked AZCowboy to assess the "most basic" statement by WMI, that starts the whole evolution, or genesis, of returning values, post chapter 11 closing to former holders...I was summarily dismissed as being "stuck in the 2013 WMIH 10-K, and no response was given to my question...The question was the literal meaning of common and preferred were cancelled, and extinguished by the company.., and, if, the statement portends some future recovery post chapter 11...This question is seminal to any discussion on the message board, and is binary, that is yes, or no that future recovery is beyond that statement... he refuses to answer it, so the messages go back and forth in perpetuity, 13 years, and counting...to me, the statement that WMI makes that Preferred were converted to common, then cancelled and extinguished in return for shares in the new company speaks the essence of what WMI meant, and intended...
