She likely paused expecting him to, then when he started without putting his hand where it should have been it would have felt awkward, even whether it was the right thing to do or not, after he had started with his hand off. Since he put his hand on the Bible in 2017, my guess, i'm guessing, makes the most sense. I'm not sure what basis you guys are using for your contrary position other than that the guy is a total asshole. Am sticking with mine, until i see a good reason not to.
