In my semi-luddite world of wood heat, etc. I think my primary AI assists come from my vehicles and the hockey puck that vacuums my house every other day. Smartphone is another, as even mention something and it ends up in the advertising stream.
I don't think that definition really matters in this case. An ai humanoid (chatGPT download), yes as you describe lifelike with all the goodest parts front and center lol.
Point is companionship. Do you want to share intimate thoughts with a learning bot that Looks like Trump/Hitler with red horns on it's head to address your PTSD or double DD's?.
