Companies will often put an 8k instead of a PR - even those who are non-reporting - when dealing with an event that could get them in trouble for doing a PR before the event is final. The 8k says that we are adding material information that if we don't report, we might get in trouble, so we are telling you. They can be used to skirt around a PR, or they can be used to provide info. I will take an 8k.
