My first purchases of Fannie and Freddie commons were in the $6-$9 range in July 2008 soon after I saw Jim Lockhart on TV telling us both were in great financial condition. I know the day before conservatorship Fannie common closed at $7.04 and Freddie at $5.10. Many thousand times greater than $1 for 100,000 shares.
Based on what I have seen - we should have low expectations for success in the COFC
Agree - don't think we would have a snowball's chance. Then I did not think Trump would come back and we would get released (maybe). So what do I know?
