LOL Granted it's a mystery, but couldn't have been like that, i wasn't born yet. One thing since yesterday
i've learned is it couldn't be due to androgen therapy because i never had any after the surgery.

Managing hot flushes in men after prostate cancer—A systematic review

Since testosterone is essential for growth and development of the prostate, androgen deprivation therapy (ADT), either bilateral orchiectomy or administration of gonadotropin releasing hormone-analogue (GNRH-a), is the recommended initial therapy for metastatic or locally advanced PCa, and for biochemical recurrence (i.e. PSA rise only) [8], [9].

One bothersome side-effect of ADT is hot flushes.

I was hoping ADT could be a solution even this late in the game, didn't see it as being a possible cause early on. LOL The only problem i had after the surgery was that i couldn't get it up because keys nerves had to be cut and damaged to be sure to get all the cancer (so the surgeon said), didn't have any ADT so that cause is eliminated. Dr gave me Viagra to try, nothing worked except the pump and that fucking hurt too much so for me wasn't worth the trouble.

Still, having had both the cancer and now the flushes, it was interesting to see them connected. And no research is a waste of time. There is always something to be learned.
