I spent a lot of time going through inspections in my day. I only have respect for the job. It's just a matter of the soil we stand on..

I'm a certified fire door inspector, but I am not a practicing one and I know it doesn't mean a hill of beans in the big picture but it could mean someone's life or death in an unfortunate situation.

I think construction should be a safe place where nobody gets hurt but unfortunately some people do, even after the workers are gone. I strive to stay by my codes to make sure some jackass can't ruin your day.
