I hate to break it to you, but corporate buying and ownership is hardly the reason the housing market is so unaffordable right now. It makes a good scapegoat because the media and half of DC have been selling the "corporate greed" scam for over 3 years now. This is the argument that one would use when the facts don't align with their sought after reality.
