That whole 2nd generation from '63 to '67 was the zenith for Vettes; crushing Enzo in all the endurance races. Extremely futuristic styling for the times. Still quite futuristic 6 decades later. Gorgeous cars. Checking off the options one by one in that era, vs. the submodel option packages of today led to some very rare, unique, and valuable cars; the likes of which we will never see again. Birth of the disc brakes ('65), big blocks (also '65), '65 had the last fuelie until the '80's also, and last of the open unrestricted exhaust systems made for some great race cars. Zora, Bill Mitchell, and Larry Shinoda!!!! I better quit before I end up writing a book here.
