Indeed it's coming fast. It really puts into perspective how stagnant that 2005-2020 era was. Sure we got faster laptops and cool cell phones and huge flatscreen TVs, but it really represented a technological plateau of sorts. We have essentially reached the limit of what classical computer chips can give us. To achieve a radical advancement from here, quantum and A.I. is needed.
As far as IonQ goes. If there is a quiet time between now and AQ64, where the share price slowly slides down, I will plan on adding. I don't like averaging up, but if it comes to that, I will.
