Yeah, I think it would be mental if IonQ is acquired for about $12 billion. I don't see any scenario where that happens. No use in selling for that price. This is one of THE biggest start-ups humankind may ever see. Quantum computing will launch technology and communication into the next evolution of the human species. No way they sell for peanuts like that. Absolutely zero chance, IMO.
I will also add, that I have been an IonQ investor for 4 years on Feb 1st of next year. If I wake up one day, and there is cash in my trading account and all my IonQ shares have been taken by some big tech giant, I will be super pissed. I want my 100x from here. That's where IonQ is going if it all pans out. If there is a buyout, we might get a 3x, or a 5x, or a 10x maybe. But our gain will not be as big, for sure.
