The Chinese company paid half the development costs of the Adderall that is why they owned half. Elite couldn’t NOT afford to develop it on their own. The Chinese decided they needed to sell their half and elite offered them shares for it (because they barely had enough cash to operate..,and still do). Chinese said no we want cash only deal. Elite couldn’t do that so rather than having Elite share ownership to whomever could be found with cash Mika bought it.

Just another time Nasrat saved investors from a negative consequence of having an unfriendly partner for our biggest product
