The ruling isn't from Garland. It's from the Office of Legal Counsel. And there's no time left to try trump. There would still be motions filed, and even if there weren't they wouldn't get through jury selection before a new AG came in and stopped it.
Garland just waited to long, and the American public became the jury... (like the OJ jury, if you ask me)
Either way, it's over. So's the entire American experiment in self government. It turns out that half the public actually wants a tyrant. Fuck 'em.
