There are still many cities with residency rules for their elected public officials and public safety. Many cities did drop the residency for public safety depending on what cities they are.

But no politician should be allowed to voter shop or location change in the same year they are running.

And is there some law that a republican can not abandon his party and go over to the other side right now?
