Zero revenue would be if you were on a cash basis of accounting. On the accrual basis, you would record the revenues for the services provided and set up a corresponding receivable for the uncollected cash. If you doubt the collection of those funds , you would then set up a doubtful allowance against the receivable. I believe that is GAAP.
