This has nothing to do with "common sense". No one is suggesting these books be required reading, much less read aloud by the school board, accompanied, I'm sure, by titters.

And do you think these people--the author of the book looks quite nice--should be hidden away and shunned, because they're different?

After all, Elon Musk has Asperger's. Which means that he's autistic. What do you think he reads? Does he talk about sex? Yes, he does. Does he HAVE sex? That's a different question. We know he says all his many--I think 11--children were conceived through IVF. Do you wonder why that is? I do.

Or would it be "common sense" not to talk about it?

As I believe I explained to you yesterday, "common sense" is a platitude. Especially if one broaches it as a solution for everything you think is "wrong".
