For every stupid class added you need more administrators and more infrastructure
No, not really. It's much more complicated than that. But start out realizing that some people become administrators because they want to make the money that comes with the job. Others wee it as a route to power.
Whereas professors, who should be better paid, shouldn't be blamed for maneuvering the nation's youth to any political end. Many feel teaching is just a chore. What interests them is research and writing.
