That's interesting. You know what else is ironic? That meme you have of Owsley County, Kentucky. The entire County had a population of around 4000 and yes, they have been Republican since the Civil War. The entire County fought for the Union. Of those 4000 residents within the 200 sq miles of Owsley...roughly 1500 use SNAP as of 2021:
It was of course an old oill & gas and coal town sitting on the Eastern Coal field. Just love it when people attack coal land and Appalachian people of that area..as you say..."inbred white trash"
So next time..why not compare such to the State of California..land of opportunity that currently has around 4,700,000 individuals using SNAP. Nothing better than attacking welfare programs for those in trouble...especially when their lively hood was taken away years ago.
