Individuals don't bet on who they love..they bet on who will win. It would never matter what one's gender is.
Are you serious? My guess is that most bettors are not serious bettors. Consider racing. Some people are expert handicappers, but they are in the minority. By a lot. (And they are mostly men.)
Other people bet on a horse because they like its color, or its name. Or they enjoy betting on long shots.
And those 2020 odds you showed turned out to be wildly inaccurate. They predicted a landslide for Biden. In reality, he won by a hair.
