VKTX- i am surprised they haven’t been bought out yet. If an acquisition is desired by management and there are credible suitors, i think it would make sense for the acquiring company to do it prior to the design of the large phase 3 trial. Meeting with FDA on trial design i believe is at the end of the year.

Maybe the data released at obesity week provides the impetus for an acquisition to get done.

What do people think the bar is to be considered home run data?

VKTX has a major event at Obesity Week on Sunday at 7:30 PM where they will disclose info VK2735 on the oral doses up to 100mg (only disclosed up to 40mg QD so far) and data from the Subq phase 2 Venture study (minimally expect more pK data plus lipids info). Expect volatility today and especially on Monday.

On the mark again Mufaso. I didn't think VKTX would hit the $60s again but it did so this morning so I increased my shares by ~10% at $67.11.
