We're in the process of moving the site to be cloud-based rather than having physical equipment in KC. Until that process is complete (and no, I don't have a definite date), the problem is likely some older networking equipment in KC that always looks fine whenever we check it. It's maddening for us, too.
We're already partially there. The front end (presentation layer) has been there since early this year or maybe some time last year. That layer was rewritten in Laravel/PHP.
The databases and business logic layers remains. That's the hard part and we'll have to take the site down for a few hours when that gets migrated. It should be happen in the next quarter or two and we can then retire all of our self-managed hardware in Kansas City.
