Maybe. Though the odds on a political contest calculated thanks to a small number of very rich people betting millions aren't, I think, likely to be very accurate. And more, not everyone is interested in betting on events like this one. As the author of the article pointed out, to use Thiel's platform, you have to pay in crypto, which means all the headaches that entails, if you're not regularly involved in crypto. That will immediately eliminate a ton of possible bettors. It's not like picking up a lottery ticket when you go out shopping.

In addition, I suspect nearly all these bets are coming from guys. Who are more into this Bro stuff than women. And guys are more likely to support Trump than are women.
