Well, many a folk see this election choice as Communism or Fascism..........No definition needed as its all rounded off for conversation sake.......

And there is truth in that conversation as the parties have those leans, its not a stretch but there are no brownshirts or calls for communal living, granted...

But if one wants a text book definition, Plutocracy is the one that fits the bill......

1. Government by the wealthy.
2. A wealthy class that controls a government.
3. A government or state in which the wealthy rule.

Seems this fits

What Is a Plutocracy?
Plutocracy is a government controlled exclusively by the wealthy, either directly or indirectly. A plutocracy effectively allows only the wealthy to rule. This can then result in policies exclusively designed to assist the wealthy. Such a dynamic is reflected in the word itself; the Greek words "ploutos" and "kratos" translate to wealthy and power, respectively.

Key Takeaways
A plutocracy is a system of rule by the wealthy, directly or indirectly.

Indirectly, plutocracy can take the form of regulatory frameworks and programs designed to benefit only the wealthy.
Commentators state that rising income inequality has converted America into a plutocracy, with members of Congress getting richer on average.

Plutocracies have been present since ancient times; the Roman Empire was considered a form of plutocracy in which a senate consisting of the wealthy aristocracy had the power to elect local administration officials and propose new policies.

Plutocracy is not to be confused with oligarchy, which defines a political structure in which power is concentrated within a small group of people that are not necessarily wealthy.
