The FDA has had its but kicked over drug shortages by the public and elected officials. They are not going to hold up or delay getting a good Vyvanse product on the market. They need to do what they can to resolve the chronic drug shortages or they know they could be replaced. If it weren’t for that I would agree with you on FDA being in competitors pockets.
