Yes, but there was far more restraint in overturning long standing decisions than there is now with this right-wing court. As I said, stare decisis is dead.

Ok, but to a significant degree “Conservative” judges come in 2 flavors - activists (eg Thomas - who is unabashed in this), and literalists (eg Kavanaugh). But liberal are essentially all activists. Eg the history of (liberal) USSC decisions on Civil Rights law was amazingly not just expansionist, but often explicitly contrary to the actual language of the congress that passed the law.
