Usually what runs hand in hand with being narcissistic is being a sadist as well.
I personally know some. And they will put you down,find fault,resort to name calling amongst some of the characteristics to elevate their own ego to make themselves look better than anyone else.
With a narcissistic personality is the fact they are extremely insecure as well.
