In 1960 Springfield was a thriving community,,,,,,Its part of the rust belt so when American industry was outsourced it took a hit hence the population loss.......Not so unlike 100s of communities throughout the US....

Although their population is now up again, its full of cheap undereducated labor......Dems love their cheap labor, and will take up for anyone outside of the US.....They just quit giving a shit about the American workers as they became the party of the rich........

Sending the industry jobs off for profit may have well worked out well for the upper percent......But out sourcing and flooding the country with cheap labor has kept wages low and the full impact is being felt now as inequity is past that of the quilted age and the inflation is bringing us to the breaking point....

Those Haitian immigrants were invited into Springfield, OH to help rebuild their economy. The town was losing workers and they needed hard working people who were just happy to be living in America. The townspeople knew these new neighbors could be trusted and were grateful to have them. And then the fascists found out about it and began their usual demonization of all brown immigrant people. So now the MAGAt started to dehumanize them en mass, and here we are. Yes....it is way too many immigrants given the short frequency. They are having an unemployment problem..ie Dayton..etc. It's not on them though(immigrants). Population growth is a big problem for communities. It's hard enough with transients and when you compound such with legal immigrants...you are going to have problems. It's poor management.

Not sure transients are an issue in Dayton/Cincinnati. I don't know the cost of living there. Lol...like that matters anymore...we are all fkd' there..lol.
