LOL Your rust mention reminds me of two cars, that time ago when i still had wheels. One had a hole just back of the pedals where water would splash up whenever puddles got in the way. That was N Burnaby, late '50s. The other, relatively a rust bucket, was an old Holden which was patched up every year to sneak it through rego. That was the one which wouldn't steer itself back after rounding a corner. Talk about self-driving cars now, that Holden, a '52 i think i had in the '70s here wouldn't even steer itself back, ever. Sounds you have your vehicle situation and plan in a good place, just as you yourself now are. ;-)
