While sorry to hear why you lost your paper route - that was silly - and while holding some sympathy for all those with any addiction, you may have missed the suggestion that all of Burkhardt's suffering could be a fiction. And while appreciative of hearing of your path to addiction, i've never heard anything like it before, i wouldn't think you would be in favor of book banning as Burkhardt obviously is.
