Nothing like being told that anyone in this forum should not even care about a war in Gaza that is being done by Israel.

Vietnam was a war of shits and giggles, as you put it. I remember an entire generation going through that miserable decade and using each year to rachet up the protest against that very war. You also are under the assumption that war crimes have happened in the past, so who cares if Israel gets to do them.

I do remember after World War II there were the Neurenberg Trials that took place to address those atrocities. Those trial were done to make sure that what happened to Jews would never happen again. After almost each war there are always certain [people that are put on trial for what they have done.

Just to refresh your memory.

It is exactly why many of us here object to Israel, our tax money is going to support Israel, so pardon us for taking an interest where that money goes, and what happens. We keep forgetting that Israel is only doing what other nations have done in the past, so just shut up and look the other way. Life doesn't work that way, especially in a world that is connected so easily.

When this war ends, get ready for some trials to take place, and Netanyahu and many of his military people and advisors will also get to stand trial. Just like so many before them. You are right Israel is just like many of the nations that have wage war in the past and committed atrocities. Those Israeli leaders will be on trial, and you will get to object again.
