I really wanna find you convincing, but...

This testing confirmed that there has been no loss in strength or toughness associated with this significant growth in production scale. While these results were expected, by Kraig Labs and its key production advisor, verifying that what works in the lab also works in the field under commercial production conditions was an important milestone.

Gotta go with the experts who have seen, touched, handled, and tested the stuff. They're not commenting from speculation. Thankfully!

I didn’t spot the ambiguity. We don’t really know what ‘small batch’ KBLB is referring to.

If Bam-1 is considerably weaker than DS 2.0 (reported at 2.0+ GPa), then when the numbers come out, people will be disappointed.

Marketing gurus advise to get out in front of bad news. Own it early and move on. If Thompson is violating that rule, we will all regret it, sooner or later.

For now, I have to concede that we don’t know what batch Thompson is comparing the current values to and therefore we can’t determine how Bam-1 compares to DS 2.0 or pretty much anything except that it’s better than 0.5 GPa.

Sigh.

They also didn’t say they “probably” tested Bam-1 against Big Red or Monster Silk but that didn’t stop you from trying to draw some sort of conclusion pulled out of thin air.

All in good faith though, right? ;-)
