Actually his post reminded me of what led to Lehman Bros collapse in 2008 and the entire economy cratering.

Lehman's was big into CDS' selling them for people who owned MBS' as a hedge should the borrowers not repay their loans.

The MBS' collapse and Lehman's defaulted on their CDS agreements and no one wanted to save them.

And somehow it's all Fannie Mae's fault.
