I'm wondering IF, not when is a better question. Hard to stay positive when everything, and I mean everything, seems to be run at a snail's pace... Still holding, but man's its sometimes tough when artificial deadlines (or real - like the Lorton Balloon) seem to come and go., and are so far in the rear-view mirror you can't see anymore, without a whisper of what's coming up around the curve. Yeah, we can't have public information before it's done - I get that. But does anyone really see a light at the end of the tunnel? I seem to be stuck in a horror film where that light stays so far away no matter if I'm running, walking, or in the train headed supposedly out.
The positive ones like to say "we are close". But close in geological years, or human? Now with a new storm headed towards Tampa - are we going to get the "we have to wait for signatures until it passes" baloney again? Wait until after hurricane season?
Even the last president's message had a line in the sand about news within a month. u-huh - heard that one many times before (as that month comes and goes as well).
Again - holding for now. But comeon!!! Missing so many market opportunities as this stock just treads water. Our money could have definitely been put to better use than this treading for the last many years.
Love the ideas and potential - but it's just that. 80 (or now 100+) million gallons tested. That's potential....
Land - that's potential
But let's move into reality, let's get signatures, contracts, building, and mixing fully active - not just discussed....

We’re all wondering the same thing…and opinions are worthless without anything to base them on. There are those that know what’s going on, but cannot say of course. Some have signed NDA’s…that much I do know. I keep going back to John Lawrence’s text to me, which was way back on April 25:

“Too many good options being made available and our due diligence is heavily underway. I won’t mislead anyway hastily and I can’t publicize the options which will crush our negotiations.”

That was a response to my asking him if an update was coming.

I have heard a rumor there is another entity in these negotiations besides Mabanaft. Could that be what was meant by “too many good options being made available”…?

And what Robertson meant when he said ‘Mabanaft is being very nice to us now?’

I still believe the deal…SOME deal, is going to get done. Timing is anyone’s guess.

Slojab,

It isn't really that surprising is it ?

Fact is ECSL has a deadline that is up to the whims of Lorton estate. A potential JV partner does not ..... and ECSL doesn't have anything they can do about it unless they go out and get a loan (which they don't generate enough revenue still to support) or sell more stock .... that no one lately really wants to buy pending the outcome to this situation.

Fact is the big boyz move at glacial pace unless there is competition on a target with perceived value. The big boyz or any partners ..... could care less if ECSL has a balloon payment due or when. It isn't their problem to worry about.

What blows me away is the lack of deals/revenues from the additives all this time and frankly wonder if there is a bit of a game being played with Mills private company and Green Path here. They been at if for more than 1 1/2 years and there's no indication they are selling anything of significance.

I'm still in the camp that a deal is in the works for the land/terminal. But I don't like Lawrence's assertion of "contributing the land". So will have to see what that looks like. So I'll wait. But I expect communication to remain as bad as always even if a deal is announced and I expect any deal will have a lot hidden under confidentiality clauses.
