Wow.... we had Woolworths here when I was just a tyke.. LOL they had a lunch counter that probably developed into what other places are doing today with serving food to their customers. Most likely developed from the local pharmacies that whipped up a cocaine soda for momma.

All I remember is that their hot dogs kicked ass.. It wasn't anything unusual aside from the bread. That stuff was amazing. I don't know if they used any type of seasoning on it outside of copious amounts of butter, but they toasted it just right and I could never leave the store without dragging my mother to buy me one.

It was heaven lol. Howard Johnson's did the same thing later but they disappeared too and I never got to find out what made those buns so special....
