I gave up at one point. It was not pretty. I was 49 years old, was with the same woman since I was 19 and she left me..

I'm not sure if there's one word to pin down the emotional rollercoaster I was on but I wasn't a twenty some young kid so I was able to deal with it. You call it kid's shit but these are the same kids who go shoot up schools.

You're way off the mark by trying to dumb it down. Shame on you. Everyone searches for an identity, no matter what you might call it.

I've learned that the youngest people are the ones who are in most need of our help. If you want to crap on them, that's just fine but I will not.

Calling it a fake feeling helps no one, including yourself. You're no better than people who ship their kids off to "conversion therapy"

The idea that someone made up the expression, and that it spread to become an internet community identification, doesn't make it less real. It is its own bitter and dangerous subculture, and a not insignificant number of mass shooters do identify with it.
