It would require independent, or posters (greater community), to check facts but those verified facts would need to include sources so each investor could verify independently.
I post links to what I say about stocks, unless the post is just something simple and brief. But IHub can't really demand that members do that. And, as before, hiring fact checkers would be very expensive. Research takes time and effort.
I'm vehemently opposed to 'fact checkers'........they're not fact checking .....they're OPINION checking......the whole concept is ludicrous.....misinformation my rosy red ASS.......It's Orwellian...........
Let people post whatever TF they want......if it's not related to the stock at hand, it can be deleted.......and 'related' should be interpreted very loosely.........
And some occasional OT stuff is ok........like maybe 'Good Morning' or whatever.....
I remember when Matt started IHub........he said it should be FUN to be/post here.........somehow that's gone bye-bye over the years.
