LOL I've been banned from plenty of boards after my first or second post there. I was sure that I was just posting factual information but somebody got their feathers ruffled by it and POOF.... gone.
Do I complain? Yes... Do I have any recourse on a premium board? Absolutely not.
You can cry all you want to about moderation on free boards but admin has always been fair with me, even though I didn't like some of the outcomes. Did a couple stretches in the pokey because I pushed it too far and even I can respect them for that.
I deserved it.. now maybe you can put on your adult pants too and quit crying like a three year old that is forced to eat their vegetables.
Yes and there is an easy way to avoid unneccesary deletion requests which would pretty well end the subjectiveness of a deletion and pretty well the misuse of "OffTopic' as a reason for deletion....less work for ADMIN
What are you talking about? And what is your magical solution to a problem you haven't clearly stated? I don't think tons of people report posts, any more than people whose posts have been deleted request an admin review.
The "misuse" of "off topic" is not a big deal. It's just the default TOS option. I'm sure if an admin is dealing with a contentious board, it's the easiest option.
