Wow you guys are going to like this. First let me say nice find Techno. I am surprised that they awarded the money so fast since Blue Fire applied last month.

So check this out.

First off do you all remember that Future Fuels conference that NSOL participated in at the end of last year?

The guy who spoke directly after Doug Durante was, Kent Larsen Senior Vice President - Business Development BlueFire Ethanol.
Blue Fire was awarded funds today.

It gets better.

The guy who spoke directly Before Jack Young was, Javier Salgado, President & CEO, ABENGOA BIOENERGY.
Abengoa was one of the companies that was awarded funds today along with Blue Fire.

It gets better.

The guy who spoke directly after Jack Young was Jeff Passmore
Executive Vice President Iogen Corporation. Iogen was awarded funds today.

I saved the link.

"Many are called, but few are chosen"?

Sorry to lose you, Sierra. Oh boy, it seems like we would have heard about NSOL if there was any government funding in the works for Liquidyne/FFI. I wonder if a previously established company PRODUCING ethanol had bearing in the 'meritorious' line of the DOE news release. Are any of these SIX companies chosen, a 'start up' company in this field??
