I feel very fortunate that I never got any lung problems, I didn't smoke cigarettes but I ate massive amounts of smoke while doing wildfires. couple of trips to the er for smoke inhalation, but a long time ago, lung capacity is good, my cardio guy says my stress test is pegged out at the top for my age group, but I think that is an artifact of hiking regularly at high elevation, my red blood cells are legion.. I am not a runner or any of that happy horseshit. Do you live near sea level?
