#484642 RE: Zorax #484479

I'm not seeing any damage to the glass unit to the right of the target. Stage left. It was bumped during the SS gloming after the hit. The teleprompter glass shatters if even tapped on the side. At least all the ones I've handled and it's actually a safety feature for most. First hand experience with that and it costs deductions from your paycheck to replace.

That's interesting. At some point after the Secret Service had appeared, I noticed the teleprompter to Trump's right, seen from in front of the podium. It was intact. I don't what condition the one to his left was in; I didn't see it. For what that's worth.

Could it be [a fragment] from the podium itself?

I don't think so. A former Secret Service guy explained that at some point today. He said the entire podium, and the red, white, and blue skirt extending to the ground on both sides of the podium are bulletproof. That's why the person they're protecting is told that if there's any emergency, they should get down so they're shielded by it.

I also like the way some media actually state he was 'escorted' away. No, he was practically carried as fast as possible.

Well, hey. He'd lost his shoes. And I'm not sure he got both of them back. He yelped about them immediately, but one of the local witnesses said that after he'd been hustled into the limo, there was one shoe left on the stage.
