You know what I think is odd? A few days ago, the Supremes overruled Chevron, which means that the precedent it set--that civil servants working for federal agencies run by the executive branch are the best authorities on any disputes that may arise, and should be deferred to in those matters--is no longer to be observed. Judges--like Neil Gorsuch of the laughing gas gaffe--are instead the proper authorities.
And then today they say that the president--head of the executive branch--is in many ways above the law.
