Maybe. But all this shit hasn't happened just because of Trump. Yes, he felt free to say things most other people never said before. And he gave his goons permission to say the same things, and even--as we saw on J6--to act on them violently.
But this shit has been building since the Tea Party was formed. And not just here. It's a problem in Europe, too.
