Maybe its about time dems understood some things too....First of all it was a good vid based on facts, which you agreed...That capitalism is certainly the best of all forms till its out of control.... which brings us to today's times...
If there is hope for the future, its the dems that have to understand that its past time to switch back and be champions against the excesses of capitalism in ernest, not just in words and then enjoy the perks and shut out the many .....That life just isn't meant to become a society of have and have nots like that video showed the dem states have become..
As 12 said, change is slow,,,, well look at where we are at, how much time is left? Just winning is not enough...Hammering 1/2 the country because they once again want a fair shake is not the way to go, they are not whiners, they are people who know we are past the gilded age,,,,,,Get it in your heads (dems) that we are all Americans...That this fn country needs non college types,,,it needed its industry, not only for economic reasons but for supply chain issues to...That all Americans are valuable, even the ones dems show so much disdain for now.....
That we need to treat each other with respect and dignity, not just for minority rights, but all...It comes in a hard days work also....I could go on, but why (and this is not aimed at you personally).....Im just a dumbness in WV right? How on earth could anyone but dems know chit and see that when they believe their own crap, that they are so superior to others, that they've lost not only their common sense, but their humanity too...Not to mention the lessons in history that inequity leads to, which we are coming dangerously close to and will be lucky to avoid...
So dems better get on the stick, cause the last 50 yrs has brought us to the point of a trump.....And when someone like that looks better than the status quo, its either shit or get off the pot time....Thats why I hammer the dems, not the repubs, dems either will, or they wont and if not dems, we, know the answer about the alternative, one way or the other..
Lastly, so you know I read your post and understand your point of good dems and bad, the bad outweigh the good and enjoy the riches, believe they are vastly above others and are the epitome of entitled, and for even the good ones left that see the dems have lost their way, its not just a matter of safety nets, its the need to move beyond the excesses of capitalism so that the needs for those nets are at a minimum, just as they once were and people can live with dignity and that pursuit of happiness we built this country on....Our children and grandchildren no longer have the opportunity that was once afforded in this country, that the dems once fought hard to attain and we had a short glimpse in time to enjoy it before greed once again reared its ugly head,,,,,,Youth now know that opportunity is not there now, those that saw it and lived it, saw it disappear....
(maybe not as civil as your post, apologies for that, but there is indeed a sense of urgency, is there not? And it started when trump came down the escalator and is worse now than ever...so forgive the straight forwardness, not that any message board post will make a difference. If there could be more discussion, more listening and less media driven partisanship, perhaps there would be less hate, less extremism and more hope for all in the future...Current politics and politicians on both sides are the problem, not each other...They are Plutocrats all the same, no matter the speeches they give at any given moment for the cameras and the hope of a vote)
