LOL the guy at the convenience store/gas station I frequent is a huge cricket fan. He is from India and is often watching live feeds on his phone.. Last year I asked him what he was always watching and he was beaming with pride to explain how India was the top ranked team in the world and was headed to the finals. I know absolutely nothing about the sport but I tried to pay some attention after that.
It turned your cricketroos upset them in the final and he was so down on it that he stopped watching for awhile. LOL I told him not to be so upset about it because there's always next year and I explained my trials and tribulations of my favorite sports teams.. Next time I see him I'm going to ask him what his take on this match was.....
It must be catching on here in the states as well because even we are building a stadium for it in Oswego... It's about an hour from where I live but maybe someday I'll go catch a match with my storekeeper friend and he can explain the game to me in real time. 🤓
