Yes, you don't see the Nikkei hitting 10,000 within days as your scenario has changed and you have got an alternative scenario in mind now. Instead, you now see the Dow hitting 10,000 within days. Got it. But if the Nikkei goes to 10,000 before the Dow hits 10,000, you will have an inversion in calls and revert back to the original as the alternative will have been negated. It all makes sense now. All if both come to pass, you can claim you were right on both fronts. Very smart on your part.
