Scorp, are you insinuating that the accountant from Cairo, Egypt was going to provide Sarbanes-Oxley compliant figures? Again, why would one choose that rather than a good ol' US accounting firm? Just does not make much sense to me in that manner

Yes ... US accounting regulations can be complex.
That is why you hire an appropriately accredited US auditor.
