Once the money goes into NLST coffers? Sure. But the reality of the situation is that it's likely Micron will not pay a dime of this damage award - YET. They will appeal this decision. It will follow the same timeline as the Samsung 00463 ruling. It wouldn't surprise me to see Gilstrap mirror the 00463 trial and order a bench trial to be held in this Micron case just won.
I said this would happen. I said the price would spike after the win and then go down.
But it's all good. I feel it's very likely that the CAFC will hear the Micron 912 PTAB ruling and OVERRULE their decision.
Unfortunately, I think the appeal will be heard and it will just add more time to the equation.
