Well, not as long ago as I thought. But the article explains the "gamified" aspects of the site. It sounds like a very irritating place to buy stuff.

Zorax: I buy a lot of stuff from temu, never had a problem.

I buy a lot of stuff from Temu. I don't use their app on the phone though. I try to avoid a lot of apps, but that one has been said to have a lot of privacy issues, (over and above the usual).
